Timeline

After years of prayer and preparation, Resurrection launched on Easter Sunday 2023.

Launch is more of a season than a single moment, so there’s space and time for you to check out our new community.

Church plants are often great contexts for deep community, spiritual formation, and creative outreach.

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.

Psalm 127:1

  • We’re planting a church, not simply a church service. This means we are committed to growing as a worshipping community—loving God and one another in light of the truth that Jesus is Lord.

In this phase of planting, we’re focusing on beginning life together. We are inviting people into the new church community God is forming among us. Lots of social gatherings, parties, and prayer together. Get in on the journey from stage one.

  • In the summer, we’ll turn our attention to deepening our life together through training and formation in the following areas:
    - Anglicanism and the Book of Common Prayer
    - multi-cultural hospitality and worship
    - sharing the good news in a skeptical age
-cultivating a healthy and honest church culture
    - monthly worship together

  • Our life together is now more fully embodied through worship together on Sundays. We’re learning how to worship and do all that is needed for Sunday worship. This is a glorious work-in-progress in which we experience God’s gospel grace together through song, word, and table. Get involved and join us!

  • As our community grows, we’ll add more elements to our Sunday morning service — such as weekly children’s chapel — that will help us launch our church officially in a way that is most hospitable to guests and visitors. The best way, however, to go fast is to go slow. Launching quickly is not our goal as much as it is to launch as a joyful, healthy, and hospitable gospel community.
